Over 8 years of experience in the field of design working with brands like Herman Miller, Hay, Design Within Reach, Naughtone, Nemschoff, Geiger, Maharam textile, Roberto Cavalli, Boss, Home Magazine, Gelen Peloso, Fluid Concept & etc. Experienced in commercial, residential, educational projects (e.g. Ryerson University, University of Toronto, Seneca College, etc.), Corporate real estate (e.g. Lerners LLP, The Keg, The Cargo Agency etc.), and healthcare projects (e.g. Becton Dickinson & Company etc.). Experiences include technical expertise / guidance and overseeing projects, supporting the Project Manager in execution of projects, design development, specification and standards development, Request for Proposal (RFP), and contract administration. She has had experience with numerous computer programs.

 

 

While studying at OCAD University (BA, 2013), Elnaz spent one summer interning for David’s Fine Linen at the Bayview Village Mall. While  merchandizing and working as an interior designer, Elnaz developed her appreciation for and love of fabrics, colors and patterns. She also discovered the world of all things luxury, vintage, modern, and classic. When going back to school for her last year of university, Elnaz made a natural transition in to the world of residential design and created the Glowing Life (interior Architecture of Retirement Residence) as the topic of her thesis.

 

She Collaboratively worked with multi-disciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams as well as psychological health experts to establish a professional design considering safety, usage friendliness, and resident penchant. She became fluent in communicating her ideas both verbally and through 3D sketches of the space; only to be the recipient of the Thesis Award from OCAD University.

 

Since Elnaz is a dynamic and ambitious architect, she decided to continue her studies in country of art, Italy. She obtained her master's degree from FIDI university in Florence. Studying in Florence offered her the opportunity to work with pioneers in architecture such as Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, Peter Forbs, & Deganello.

In addition to her work as an interior designer in continuous collaboration with private client projects, she has also worked during several seasons within production, for St. Pierre as a graphic and package designer.

 

 

Elnaz loves to work with soft palettes and incorporates colourful accents to add pizzazz to each and every project. Clients appreciate Elnaz's fresh and sophisticated style, her attention to detail, her strong organizational skills and her charming yet confident demeanour. With each job, Elnaz understands the need to achieve the perfect balance of style and function.

 

She is ambitious, open-minded and dedicated designer that is eager to utilize her skills in design and to learn more about the creative process in various environments. she works well in a team environment and equally well independently. Elnaz looking for a challenging position where she can further her professional growth in the industry and to mesh her creative skills and experience with your organization.
